Terms and Conditios

The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Saffron Walden Airport Express. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally acknowledge acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

Definitions

1.1 “Saffron Walden Airport Express,” “we,” or “us” denotes the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” may refer to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

Booking

2.1 It is imperative to allocate sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in requirements. Saffron Walden Airport Express is not accountable for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or if you are unprepared for collection at the scheduled time.

2.2 You are responsible for ordering a suitably sized vehicle for passengers and luggage. Saffron Walden Airport Express does not guarantee the accommodation of excess luggage. Children, regardless of age, are considered individual passengers.

2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be communicated at the time of booking.

Prices & Payment

3.1 Our quotation is based on the information provided by you. Unless otherwise stated, prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged separately if applicable. We reserve the right to modify the provided quote in the event of significant changes to the itinerary.

3.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the stated landing time and airport parking costs. Any wait exceeding this period will be subject to the standard Saffron Walden Airport Express waiting rate. While we endeavor to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review and ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Saffron Walden Airport Express of any discrepancies absolves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.

3.4 Payments can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card for our services.

The Service

4.1 Passenger behavior during the journey is your responsibility. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact caused by passengers.

4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are not allowed in the vehicle.

4.3 All children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We are not permitted to exceed the licensed or insured passenger capacity.

Cancellations

5.1 Timely cancellation is required, and charges will apply if canceled after dispatch. Charges will be based on the driver’s time and distance to the cancellation point.

5.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may incur charges.

Liability

6.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. Saffron Walden Airport Express is not responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.

6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will attempt to provide an alternative vehicle promptly.

6.4 You indemnify Saffron Walden Airport Express from expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from omissions or acts by anyone in your party.

6.5 Liability exclusions do not apply to personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse bookings immediately if there is a risk to vehicles or drivers from abuse, violence, or damage by you or passengers. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

Miscellaneous

8.1 Saffron Walden Airport Express may subcontract obligations, while you may not assign or transfer your rights under this agreement.

8.2 We reserve the right to modify terms and conditions, with changes reflected on this page. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect when the booking is made.

8.3 Information processing adheres to the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Saffron Walden Airport Express and yourself.

8.5 No third party can enforce rights under this agreement without written consent.

Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be raised within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims made beyond this timeframe are not obligated to be entertained by Saffron Walden Airport Express.
